FIRE!!!

A few years ago some friends and I were dining at a restaurant in Chicago that shall remain nameless. We hadn’t chosen the restaurant based on reviews of their food or service. The choice was based strictly on it’s proximity to the movie theater next door where we’d purchased tickets to a show. As we dined and laughed enjoying each other’s company we didn’t notice that one of our fancy schmancy paper napkins had come dangerously close to the candle adorning the table. Paris Day 3: Jet Lag & Super Glue

I’ve never experienced jet lag like this before. I’ve felt sluggish and maybe found it a little difficult to get going in the morning but never anything like this. Paris Day 2: Things I’ve Learned So Far

1. Tips are already included in your cab fare to and from the
airport. Cabbies don’t even expect more because they’ve
already included their tip in the fare.
— A nice told me this when I tried to tip him.
— It’s not uncommon to be in a cab that has wifi.
